<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JUNE 25, 1975 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following <br />Council members present: Domenico, Berry, Caranci, Dhieux, DelPizzo and DiCarlo. <br />Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Engineer White, City Clerk Santilli. <br />Absent: City Treasurer Hesson, City Attorney Morris. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Councilman Berry asked that the minutes of the <br />last meeting regarding Mr. Fleming and the con- <br />struction of the Fire Hall be correct stating <br />that: Mr. Wurl stated to Mr. Fleming that earlier <br />a report on the asphalting was requested and that <br />in a part of the report it stated that the money <br />in Mr. Flrmings contract was held by the City and <br />there were no remarks made within Council that <br />Mr. Fleming was paid, but did not do the work. <br />After correction made Councilman Domenico moved <br />that the minutes be accepted as corrected. Se- <br />conded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON H.B. 1041 <br />DESIGNATING MATTER OF STATE <br />INTEREST - GUIDELINES <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated to Council that the Land Use <br />Commission had ordered the City of Louisville <br />and Boulder County to identify and develop <br />guidelines for the saem. They pointed out items <br />that they felt were matters of state interest that <br />should be reviewed. He stated our position <br />since the land within the City was totally <br />zoned or devEloped, Louisville felt that they <br />were excluded from the requirements of the Act, <br />however, when the City became involved with the <br />proposed Mizel annexation and law suits and <br />discussion with the Land Use Commission and <br />County came up, it resulted that the City would <br />need to have a p,ublich Hearing to begin devel- <br />oping input necessary to promelgate the guide- <br />lines. The City Planning Commission, City <br />Engineer, and City Administrator worked on the <br />guidelines and developed an outline to be con- <br />sidered at this meeting. It was stated that the <br />primary purpose of this meeting will be to <br />obtain from interested parties information that <br />will be needed to develop the guidelines and <br />eventually provide enought information so Council <br />can identify and designate areas of state wide <br />concern. <br />Mr. Wurl also stated that much of this will be <br />legal work. Al the information that is developed <br />during the hearing has to be related back to the <br />requirements of the statute. <br />
