After remarks, <br />Councilman Berry moved to amend the motion <br />stating that it was the alley between <br />Lincoln St. and Garfield St. Seconded <br />by Councilwoman Dhieux. Roll call on <br />amendment. DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />Dhieux yes, Berry yes, Caranci yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />Roll call on motion as amended. <br />Berry yes, Caranci yes, Dhieux yes, <br />DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ONE-WAY ALLEY <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl asked that the discussion on the <br />alley running one-way be handled with the <br />questionaire letter to the property owners <br />involved. <br /> <br />SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />A memo from the City Engineer stated the <br />possible improvements and cost estimates <br />to Council. Mr. Wurl stated the course <br />if the Council would have a sidewalk <br />district. Mr. Wurl stated that in this <br />sense the City would put up any sidewalk <br />that the property owner did not put in <br />and then assess the owner on their property <br />taxes. Councilman Berry stated that he <br />felt the sidewalk placement should be <br />put in the 1976 budget. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that there was <br />an Ordinance stating that all property <br />owners will install sidewalks. He stated <br />that the Ordinance should be enforced. ~~ <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he felt <br />the areas where the City cut the street <br />down should be fixed by the City. <br />ouncilman Caranci asked who is respon- <br />sible for fixing steps to homes after <br />the street is cut down. Councilman <br />DelPizzo stated that it had happened to <br />him and he was responsible for putting <br />steps up to his home. <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked that the Ordinance <br />on sidewalks be reviewed and discussed <br />after.
