-5- CURB PAINTING Councilman DelPizzo stated that when there is something going on at the fire hall and cars are parked near the curb it is nearly impossible to see at the intersection. He requested that the curb painting be further back as not to obstruct view. Councilman DelPizzo asked about the bulletin board that was to be placed in front of City Hall. City Administrator Wurl stated that the board was in and would be put up. BULLETIN BOARD CITY SIDEWALKS Councilman DelPizzo asked that the property owners who have no sidewalks be approached and asked to have side- walks put in or the City do it and tax the property owner. Mr. Wurl stated that forms for improvement would be given to property owners who would have a cer- tain length of time to install the sidewalks or the City would put them in and the payment placed on the property tax, however if the City does it. the City must pay the contractor and would be out that amount of money until the next tax was paid. Councilman DelPizzo also stated that nothing was ever done to correct the sidewalk on the corner of Jefferson and Pine. He stated that he felt the walk should be repaired at the Citys expense but nothing was ever done about it. Councilman DelPizzo moved that the City repair the sidewalk at the corner of Jefferson and Pine. Notion died due to lack of second. Mr. Wurl asked that he bring the repairs in with he list of priorities along with a cost estimate before any action is taken. WATER RESTRICTIONS Mayor Waschak stated that there were no water restrictions for the summer but there will be no wasting water either and the code enforcement officer will be instructed to watch for this. It was reported that the water was on at the cemetery and it is being cleaned up.
