SALES AND USE TAX ORDINANCE AUDIENCE COMMENTS CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER ALLEY NEAR WOOD BROS. -6- The City Attorney stated that the Ord- inance has been drawn up and sent to the state for their recommendations. Councilman Domenico moved that the committee reports be accepted. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. Mrs. Shipton stated that she was very pleased with the job of the Code En- forcement officer as she has not seen any stray dogs running near her home. Mr. Percy Conarroe stated that he was very displeased with the treatment Louisville received from the Consortium of Cities at a meeting he attended on April 30, at the Boulder County Court- house. He asked that the City look carefully at the purpose of the Con- sortium. Council also voiced there feeling as to the treatment the City staff received however, it was decided that the City would stay in the Consortium to view the future annexation proposals brought up by the other communities. Mr. Hoffmeister stated that he would like some final action taken on the correcting of the alley situation as the home owners would like to put in yards and fences. Mr. Wurl stated that he is soliciting opinions from all property owners involved and will hope- fully have a decision at the next Coun- cil meeting. Mrs. Shipton stated that her sidewalk in front of her home was cracking due to the water running underneath. She has contacted Wood Brothers and does not want to be responsible of having to put in another sidewalk at her expense. Mr. Wurl stated that Wood Brothers will have to fix the sidewalk before the City will approve the streets. Mrs. Mary DiLorenzo commended the City Staff and Council for there fine efforts being put forth.
