<br />-3- <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE <br />REPORTS <br /> <br />ALLEY BETWEEN LAFAYETTE & SHORT <br />STREETS <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that Mrs. Garrett <br />and her neighbors would like to keep the <br />alley way open. He stated that they were <br />willing to work with the City to keep the <br />alley open. He stated that the property <br />owners would be willing to lease the <br />needed footage to keep the alley open. <br /> <br />WATER LINE Councilman DelPizzo stated that he spoke <br />with Larry Hafner regarding the hook up <br />with the water line that runs to the <br />cemetery during the summer. He wanted to <br />know if the line was going to be used <br />during the winter months. Mr. Wurl stated <br />that this was brought up before and there <br />was nothing that could be done that would <br />not be overly expensive. <br /> <br />ALLEY SITUATION Councilwoman Dhieux stated that she and <br />Councilman Berry checked about the alley <br />near Wood Brothers subdivision and they <br />felt that the City should maintain their <br />portion and do with the best they can <br />or maybe hard surface it to help keep it <br />clean. Councilman DelPizzo stated that <br />if one alley is hard surfaced other people <br />in the City would question the reason. <br />No action was taken. <br /> <br />L.C.D.C. PROJECT Councilman DiCarlo and the other Council- <br />members commended L.C.D.C. and Barb McDonald <br />for there great contribution to the City <br />in the building of the elderly citizen homes. <br /> <br />LUNCHEON WITH INTERNATIONAL Councilman DiCarlo stated that he was <br />GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS honored to be able to attend the luncheon <br />which was held with 14 government officials <br />from around the world. He requested that <br />Mr. Wurl write the Municipal League and <br />thank them for picking Louisville. <br /> <br />PARKING LOT Councilman DiCarlo asked when the parking <br />lot was going to be finished on the old <br />Steinbaugh property. Mr. Wurl stated that <br />it is in the final stages. The final papers <br />have been submitted to F.H.A. and it is now <br />up to them <br />
