<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />MARCH 18, 1975 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with <br />the following Council members present: Domenico, Berry, Dhieux, <br />DelPizzo and DiCarlo. Absent: Councilwoman Scholl. Others present: <br />City Administrator Wur1, City Attorney Morris, City Engineer White, <br />City Treasurer Hesson, City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Council and Mayor Waschak approved the <br />minutes as read. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that corres- <br />pondence be accepted and brought up <br />under the proper head of business. <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER <br /> <br />Chief Dennis Munger stated to Council <br />that there were three applicants for <br />the position of Code Enforcement <br />Officer. Ed Cronce, Gordon Madonna, <br />and Michael Strawn. Chief Munger <br />recommended Mr. Ed Cronce to be approved <br />by the Council for the position. Chief <br />Munger stated that Mr. Cronce had worked <br />with the reserves and was experienced <br />as an officer. He also stated the other <br />two applicants would be looking for a <br />patrolmen opening should the position <br />arise. Councilman DelPizzo stated his <br />objection of hiring a Code Enforcement <br />Officer. After further discussion, <br />Councilwoman Dhieux moved to accept <br />Chief Mungers recommendation and appoint <br />Mr. Ed Cronce as Code Enforcement <br />Officer. Seconded by Councilman Berry. <br />Roll call on motion. Domenico yes, <br />Berry yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo no, <br />DiCarlo no. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Cronce will begin work on April <br />1, 1975. <br /> <br />ROOME REQUEST <br /> <br />Mr. Wur1 informed Council that Roomes <br />applied for a rezoning on property on <br />Roosevelt. He stated that it was the <br />Planning Commission recommendation not <br />to grant the rezoning, however it is <br />up to Council to set a public hearing <br />if desired. Councilman Berry moved <br />that Council follow the recommendation <br />of the Planning Commission and not grant <br />
