POLICE COMMITTEE REPORTS cant'd CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER & POLICE CARS COAL CREEK ASSOCIATION APPOINTMENT -2- and then have them published along with the Code of Ethics. Seconded by Coun- man Berry. Motion carried. Chief Munger presented Council with cost estimates on two new police vehicles. Council asked what had happened with the wrecked vehicle. They were informed that the insurance paid off the lease and the City received $350.00 extra from it. After discussion Councilwoman Scholl moved that the City call for bids on leasing of I new vehicle. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. Domenico yes, Berry yes, Dhieux no, Scholl yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo no. Motion carried. Chief Munger informed Council about the advertising of the Code Enforce- ment Officer. It was stated that the Officer should be dressed in something other then a police uniform, so as not to damage the uniform. It was also stated that the Officer should be on a rotating shift. After discussion, Councilwoman Scholl moved that Chief Munger advertise for the position of Code Enforcement Officer. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. Domenico yes, Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux no, DelPizzo no, DiCarlo no. Mayor Waschak voted yes, to break the tie vote. Motion carried. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the officer not be hired without approval of the Council. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl stated that Council has adopted supporting the Coal Creek study and have approved the by-laws what was now needed was a person designated by the City to serve on the board. Mr. Wurl requested that Mr. Joseph Madonna be reappointed. Councilman Berry moved that Joseph Madonna be reappointed to the board. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried. The appointment will be for a period of one year.
