<br />POLICE COMMITTEE REPORTS cant'd <br /> <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER & <br />POLICE CARS <br /> <br />COAL CREEK ASSOCIATION <br />APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />and then have them published along with <br />the Code of Ethics. Seconded by Coun- <br />man Berry. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Chief Munger presented Council with <br />cost estimates on two new police <br />vehicles. Council asked what had <br />happened with the wrecked vehicle. <br />They were informed that the insurance <br />paid off the lease and the City received <br />$350.00 extra from it. After discussion <br />Councilwoman Scholl moved that the City <br />call for bids on leasing of I new <br />vehicle. Seconded by Councilman Berry. <br />Roll call. Domenico yes, Berry yes, <br />Dhieux no, Scholl yes, DelPizzo yes, <br />DiCarlo no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Chief Munger informed Council about <br />the advertising of the Code Enforce- <br />ment Officer. It was stated that the <br />Officer should be dressed in something <br />other then a police uniform, so as not <br />to damage the uniform. It was also <br />stated that the Officer should be on <br />a rotating shift. After discussion, <br />Councilwoman Scholl moved that Chief <br />Munger advertise for the position of <br />Code Enforcement Officer. Seconded <br />by Councilman Berry. Roll call. <br />Domenico yes, Berry yes, Scholl yes, <br />Dhieux no, DelPizzo no, DiCarlo no. <br />Mayor Waschak voted yes, to break the <br />tie vote. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the <br />officer not be hired without approval <br />of the Council. Seconded by Councilman <br />Domenico. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Council has adopted <br />supporting the Coal Creek study and have <br />approved the by-laws what was now needed <br />was a person designated by the City to <br />serve on the board. Mr. Wurl requested <br />that Mr. Joseph Madonna be reappointed. <br />Councilman Berry moved that Joseph <br />Madonna be reappointed to the board. <br />Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Motion <br />carried. The appointment will be <br />for a period of one year. <br />
