<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JANUARY 22, 1975 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:40 P.M. with <br />the following Councilmembers present: Domenico, Berry, Scholl, Dhieux, <br />DelPizzo and DiCarlo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City <br />Clerk Santilli. Absent: City Attorney Morris, City Treasurer Hesson. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />Mayor and Council approved the minutes of <br />the last meeting as read. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that correspon- <br />dence be approved and brought up under the <br />proper head of business. Seconded by <br />Councilman Berry. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />3.2% LIQUOR LICENSE <br />RUSTY BUCKET <br /> <br />EASEMENT VACATION <br />PARK STREET <br /> <br />Mr. Lewis Zarlengo presented his purpose <br />of opening a 3.2% liquor establishment in <br />the City. <br />Mr. W u r 1 i n form e d Co u n c i 1 t hat the a p p- <br />1ication was in order, but a copy of the <br />lease agreement would have to be presented <br />to the City Attorney for approval. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />There were no remarks for or against the <br />establishment. The public hearing was <br />closed, and Council gave there remarks. <br />Council asked Mr. Zarlengo what type of <br />establishment it would be. <br />Mr. Zarlengo stated that there would be <br />dancing to live music, a pool table and <br />pizza along with the alcohol. He also <br />stated that he will be hiring local people <br />to work in the establishment. Hours will <br />be from 4:00 P.M. until 12:00 P.M. After <br />discussion on the matter, Councilman Di- <br />Carlo moved that the matter be tabled until <br />the next Council meeting since there was <br />no public notice in the local paper. <br />Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. Roll call <br />Domenico abstained due to previous partner- <br />ship with Mr. Zarlengo, Berry yes, Scholl <br />yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Zarlengo is to present a copy of the <br />1 ease agreement. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council of the situation <br />of a parcel of property between Mr. Joe <br />Gomez' and Mr. John Paxton property. The <br />area is approximately 50'x70'. Mr. Wurl <br />stated that there was no way for the City <br />to utilize the property and it was an area <br />which was collecting trash.
