<br />CROSS PANS cont1d <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br />SENIOR CITIZEN PROGRAM <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated to Council that it needed <br />to be decided if Council fells that there <br />is a definite need to redo the cross pans <br />and if so how to decide which cross pans <br />should be fixed first. Mr. Wurl stated <br />that the money situation is a very im- <br />portant matter. Councilman DelPizzo <br />stated that he felt the cross pans were <br />a very vital project. Mayor Waschak <br />asked Council to check into the matter <br />thoroughly and discuss it at the next <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read a memo from Mr. Helart in <br />regards to the program. There were no <br />further questions. <br /> <br />MEMORY SQUARE PARK <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that a memo <br />was received from Mr. Helart stating <br />that all problems have been corrected at <br />the Park and the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission has notified LURA that they <br />are now ready to take possession of the <br />pa rk. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUEST <br />NEW AMBULANCE <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that the Fire- <br />men requested permission to go out for <br />bids on a new ambulance. They have <br />found the ambulance they want. Council- <br />man DelPizzo moved that the City Admin- <br />istrator get bids for the new ambulance. <br />Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Roll <br />call. Domenico yes, Berry no, Scholl no, <br />Dhieux no, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. <br />Tie vote. Mayor Waschak voted yes to <br />carry the motion. The vehicle will be <br />equiped. The estimated cost will be <br />approximately $17,000 and at the end of <br />a three year period the vehicle will belong <br />to the City. The old ambulance will be_ <br />retained as a back up. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he wrote a letter to <br />Public Service with the Councils changes <br />and Public Service notified the City that <br />they will get back with the City as to <br />when they will meet to discuss the franchise. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the City <br />Administrators report be accepted. Se- <br />conded by Councilwoman Scholl. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC SERVICE FRANCHISE <br />
