<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />AUGUST 6, 1974 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meE~ting to order at 7:40 P.M. with the following <br />Council members present: Berry, Scholl, DelPizzo, DiCarlo. Others <br />present: City Administrator Wur1, City Attorney Morris, City Treasurer <br />Hesson, and City Clerk Santilli. Absent: Councilman Domenico and Coun- <br />cilwoman Dhieux. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the <br />minutes as read. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />Councilman Berry moved that correspon- <br />dence be accepted and brought up under <br />the proper heading. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilwoman Scholl. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />PARK & REC. APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked if all the <br />letters were received at about the same <br />time. Mr. He1art said that one was <br />received earlier however, they held out <br />until there were more people applying. <br />Councilwoman Scholl moved that Keith <br />He1art, Ricky Pickett, and Don Pickett <br />be appointed for 2 years on the Parks <br />& Rec Board. Seconded by Councilman <br />Berry. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the motion <br />be amended to require a vote on each <br />person separately. Seconded by Council- <br />man DelPizzo. Motion on amendment <br />carried. <br />Council moved to appoint Keith He1art <br />and Ricky Pickett for 2 year terms. <br />Mr. Don Pickett was not approved by <br />Council to serve on the Board. Mr. He1art <br />is to bring another name in for Councils <br />approval. <br /> <br />COUNCIL PRIORITIES <br /> <br />Council tabled this matter until a full <br />Council was present. The matter will <br />be discussed on August 13, 1974 at the <br />time of the budget meeting. <br /> <br />MOSQUITO SPRAYING <br /> <br />Mr. Wur1 informed Council and the audience <br />that there would be no more spraying of <br />mosquitoes. He stated that the County <br />misinformed the City on the matter. He <br />felt that some type of apology should be <br />be placed in the paper about the matter. <br />
