REGULAR I,mETING

LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL

MARCH 5, 1974

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.11. by Mayor Waschak. Council
members present were, DOlLlenic.o, Berry, Scholl and Dhieux. Councilman
DiCarlo and DelPizzo were absent. Other members present were City
Attorney Morris, City Administrator Wurl, City Treasurer Hesson and
City Clerk Santilli.

ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES

Councilman DiCarlo asked that the minutes
be corrected to state that he suggested
instead of buying a car, that Council
check and see what vehicles the City now
has and use one of them for the Code En-
forcement Officer during his trial period.
After corrections were made Mayor Waschak
and Council approved the minutes.

CORRESPONDENCE

Correspondence included letters from CAC
the American Legion, and Water reports
for the month of February.
Hr. Wurl read a letter from Hr. Ed Deborski
in regards to Sprouls Annexation. Mr.
Wurl stated that he has answered the letter
from Mr. Deborski and CAC.
Councilwoman Scholl asked when the pri-
liminary plat requirements on annexation
was did away with. Hr. Wurl stated that
Council submitted a proposed change in
annexation procedures which stated that
Land could be annexed without being platted
except that all the quarantees that relate
to development that would be inforced at
the time of annexation, would be handled
at the time the annexation was platted.
The City felt this would be an advantage
because: 1. The City was able to annex
land without any committments. 2. This
gave the City the perogative to review
each plat as it came in. Mr. Wurl was
made in the forB of a motion. Mr. Wurl
was toc.heck and s~e if thi~ suggestion
was made in the form of a motion. Hr. ~vurl
also stated that if a plat is submitted
to the Planning Cownission and it is
accepted for reveiw then there is a 30 day
tine limit and if Planninc Co~~ission has
not acted withing that time on the matter
it is automatically turned over to Council.
If there is no plat at the request for
annexation, then there is no limitations.
The only limitation on an annexation pro-
position is that 'if the City does not
