Mr. Wurl stated that we did have
varification that the buidling was at
their office. Roll call. Domenico yes,
Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes. ~10tion
carried.

Councilwoman Dhieux stated that in the
Police Commission minutes she would like
to have on record that she is strongly
opposed to anyone under the age of 21 in
the Police Force carrying a fire arm,
Councilman Berry stated that the rest of
the Commission concurred with Council-
woman Dhieux.
Councilman Domenico reported on the Police
Commission meeting.
Councilwoman Dhieux moved that Council
approve recommendation of the Police
Commission, that anyone under the age of
21 not be allowed to carry fire arms,
Reserve Police or otherwise. Seconded by
Councilman Berry. Motion carried. The
Commission asked if the City would pay
the balance on the pamphlets that are
being printed as the Commission felt that
the Police should not have to solicit for
funds to pay the bill. Suggestion were
made that the money come out of the Police
and Firemens budget. Councilman Berry
asked before the matter be okayed that
Chief Munger get an amount for payment.
Ordinance #438 was discussed and the
Commission felt that the matter be pursued
further before any decisions were made.
Mr. Wurl stated that Chief Munger and the
Police felt that until there is a pro-
vision in the state retirement program that
they would get their share of the money
back they would just as soon stay the way
they were now. Attorney Morris stated
that the Police wanted the Ordinance
written up so that if they quit the Police
Force they could withdraw their money.
Sttorney Morris felt that this was against
the state statute. There was no action
taken on the matter. The Commission also
brought up the Delaney Rd. curve. They
felt the one sign that was put up was not
sufficient. Chief Munger was going to
talk with Dan White in regards to this.

-3-
