Morrie explained if the Sanitation District mernes with the Oieyj the City will take over allliabili- ties of the istrictwhich would be $3$,000 in bonds and interest. . This would create no problem due to the fact ~he City would receive all revenue due to the District. An election wll1have to be held to approve or disapprove the merger. Will have to be taken to District Court for new funding and borrow enough to pay oft bond- ed indebtedness and construct a new plant. This all will take time before anything can actually be accomplished. Attorney Morris suggested that the $37,000 bonded ind~btedness of the Sanitation District be paid off at the time the City acquires control of the District facilities and be bonded in conjuction with sewer imp- rovements. Mr Conorro~ suggested the District sell the land that they owa. CITY ADtr.}.1ISTRATORS REPORT Requested a resolution to have the Deputy ity Clerk sign cheCKS in case 9f the absence of the City Clerk.. Motion by Bonovan seconded by Uomenico that the resolution be drawn.' .Motion carried. Reported he was going ahead to buy gasoline on a credit card basis for ~ City motor vehicles which will sav~ the City money. ; Rece~~ed some questions as to whether the ~ity has a .burial ground for the needy. This matter was referred to the Cemetery committee they are to report next meeti~. Motion by King seconded by Domenico that Jensen and Deborski be sent to DRCOG meeting. Motion carried. .). REPORTS. Police Magistrates report rea~ showing 43 cases were tried. and $335.00 assessed and turned over to the City. Motion by Deborski seconded by King report be accepted. Motion carried. HEALTH OFFICERS REPORT: No report. ATTORNEYS REPORT: Mayhorfer would like to change irrigation to DomenBt~r;,water. Motion by Jensen seconded by D6novan Attorney Morris negotiate in the event that they change from irrigation to domestic per original contract.
