<br />COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />October 3, 1912 <br /> <br />Regular meeting called to ordler by Mayor Lawrence Caranci. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Present Deborski, Ki.ng, Donovan and Maxwell <br />Absent - Jensen and lbmenico <br /> <br />Mqor suspended meeting and t,unled it over to MOOG. They showed slides in regards <br />to different developments andl green belt areas. <br /> <br />A.CCEPTANCE OF MINUTES: M1nut,es accepted after corrections. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE: Letter from Bob Ferrari, president of Centaurus Sports Booster <br />Club, requesting that Ci.ty contact the State for signal lights to be in- <br />stalled at intersection of Scluth Boulder Road and Hiway 42; and South Boulder Road <br />and Hiway 287. <br /> <br />BUDGET: Letter from ~r Akins in regards to the completion of l<<>rk on the <br />preliminary budgElt.. <br />Motion by King, seconded bJr Deborski that correspondence be accepted and <br />brought up under proper heading. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COMHI TTEES : <br />'WATER: No report <br />STREETS: No chairman <br />FINANCE COMMITTEE: - Ha,re budget ready before dead line. No change in mill <br />le,TY' . <br /> <br />POLICE: No report. <br /> <br />I <br />Motion by Donovan, seconded by Jiaxwell that letter be sent to County Commissioners <br />that t.here will be no change in mill lev. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Du.ane Johnson of Ken Bruns" read proposals on Church line const.ruction or <br />Job #676.104 (Ajax) and report l~iven October 2, 1972 at 'Work Session. Motion by <br />King, seconded by' Deobrski that both jobs be accepted and Mayor be au tori zed to <br />sign orders. Motion carried,. <br /> <br />Council approved the lei~tilO.g of bids tor the new Sanitation plant by Ken Bruns <br />and Associates. This will ~~ ill two parts - #1 for t.he plant construction and #2 <br />for 151t trunk lines feeding int4() the plant. This ccabined with the present plant <br />should have a capacity to handliB 7,500. Bids in the 8JIlOunt of $410,000.00. Bids <br />will be opened in 30 days and al::tual construction withi:J:l 60 days. Motion by Max- <br />well, seconded by Donovan wle authorize Ken Bruns and Associates to advertise for <br />bids in the Louisville Times and LoDgmont Daily Joumal, 30 dqs from date or <br />November 1, 1912. Perrella lilJOuld it be advisable to advertise in the Dame of the <br />City or Sani tation District? Mr. Perella advised that this ahould be taken care <br />of promptly or we could poss:i.bl;r lose our Government Grant. <br />Const.Jmct.ion estimate - $3.$8,000 - Government Grant would cover 75%. Same <br />bidder can accept two contrac::ts. <br />
