<br />Berry stated that due to the fact it was not a l~ck <br />of water but due to pressure. p~yor Caranci said <br />the only alternati~e would be to put e~eryone on a <br />monthly basis but suggested no changes be made at <br />this time. Mr. ~anks to keep close watch on water <br />use and reserve. <br /> <br />John t'axton of 824 Lee Ave. came bcfor(~council re- <br />quested a 10ft. fence be erected along west side of <br />base ball park, base balls have been going into Lee <br />Avenue and could do some bad damage, would also like <br />to have speed limit signs erected and enforced. <br />Mayor Caranci said he would contact Parks and Recreation <br />Board and see if something could be done. <br /> <br />ATTOR}mY'S REPORT: <br /> <br />Attorney Morris 'read Ordinance #381 by title. An Ord- <br />inance to vacate a 6 foot portion of C>outh Street <br />between the West side of Lee Avenu~ ann the easterly <br />right of way line of Colorado and ~ ou~hern Railroad, <br />and to Vest ti.tle thereto in the owner:, of the abutt- <br />ing property as prol/,ided by law, and doclaring an <br />emergency therefor. Motion by Derry seeonded by King <br />that Ordinance #381 be accepted. Roll call1/ote Tomeo <br />yes, berry yes, King yes, Perrella les Motion carried. <br /> <br />Read Ordinance #382 an Ordinance authorizing the City <br />Council of the City of Louisville to order the constru- <br />ction or repairs of si.dewalks, curbs and gutters. <br />Motion by Perrella seconded by King to publish ord. <br />#382. Motion carried. <br />Sales tax six months prior to time it becomes effective <br />to cnange Gross 1{'eceipts tax to Sales ~:ax. <br />Regards to Hiway #42 not adequate descl'iption. <br />Motion by Berry seconded by Tomeo to accept report. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />POLIDE MAGISTRATE REPORT: Forty-two cases tried total of seven hundreq. <br />three dollars assesr'ed andt:lrned over to the City. <br />Motion by Berry seconded by Tomeo to accept report. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />HF..ALTH OFFICER'S REPORT: No contagious diseases. ~tion b:, Derry seconded <br />by King to accept report.
