COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 15, 1971 Regular meeting called to order by V~yor Lawrence Caranci. ROLL CALL: Present Torre 0 , King, Berry, Mudrock, Dondelinger and Perrella.' ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES: Minutes accepted as presented. CORRESPONDENCE: None POLICE COHHISSION: No report. ITEMS ON AGENDA: 1. Miller Property in regards to alley located on Grant Ave. between Grant Ave. and Jefferson, running east and west. Mr. Sanks, Perrella and Tomeo checked property. Mr. Sanks stated that he had no objection to vacating the alley. Perrella Alley runs west to City limits would_cause a handicap in case of fire, City would never be able to utilize for drainage in the future. Mr. Perrella is against vacating the alley. Tomeo stated he felt the same as Perrella. Matter was tabled to next meeting. 2. ANNEXATION OF EAST 5mB OF HI-WAY 42. To be brought up under Attorney's report. 3. REPORT FROM CONCIL}ffiN IN RESPECTIVE WARDS. Ward #1. No report. Ward #2. Perrella stated he had observed streets but did not check the alleys. Suggested that we have manager or Chief check a nd notify people. Ward #3. Dondelinger stated the school was not in his ward but it should be cleaned up. Let:patr0lman"s,erve't'"flofuice. 4. HI NOUNTAIN \llATER, REPORT: To be discuse'ed under Attorney's report. 5. ';'REPORT'ON VENDING MACHINES: Licenses required for games, license fee $25.00 per year payable by the business owner and not the machine owner. Charge of $12.50 shall be made for the last six months of 1971. Attorney to check this ordinance. Another Ordinance set for revision is the one raising animals in the City. Some Councilmen stated that SJ me residents are in the dog kennel business. 6.
