Dennis Lumberg :i:'eported that Ron <br />Finleon" Jaycees, had pursued the swimming pool previously and stated <br />it was not only the fact, of procuring the money for the pool alone, but <br />the upkeep of maintaing same would be approximately $20,000.00. Dennis <br />also reported that HUD meeting, Urban Renewal, would be held 21 July <br />1971 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers and suggested Bodhaine attend <br />along with him to see about information on Federal funds. <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci commended our workers on the parks at the High School <br />and Community Building and asked Bodhaine if he could get something <br />going for the youngsters to use these facilities. Marty also commended <br />Bodhaine for the good job he is doing. . <br /> <br />AGENDA.: <br /> <br />The minutes were corrected and amended to read - Ordinance 27.4-4 <br />regarding pin ball machines and ItUnlawf'ul Acts1t had been adopted and <br />authorized for first publication. <br /> <br />Max reported that our 161t line was 18~ ft. out of the easement - no <br />records aVailable" and consequent~ directly under the Baptist Church <br />property. Solution,; obtain a letter of release from Cliff Brock for <br />the City Park property as designated and trade acre for acre wi th the <br />Baptist Church- approximately 4 acres involved. Motion by Dondelinger, <br />seconded by Mudrock that Paul Morris proceed with necessary legal license <br />title commitment and Max: negotiate with the Church to complete the trade. <br />Passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Annexation of Sewer property and Hiway 42 - Paul met with the Sewer <br />Board and he is to proceed with the annexation; also easement through <br />Clynke property. Made offer for same which Paul thought more than generous" <br />Clyncke also seeking $150.00 wheat damage. This involves approximately <br />15acres. Should be ready by August meeting. <br /> <br />Request by Data Realty for letter of commitment from City and Sanitation <br />District for service for 81 home just west of EPIC Building. Mayor <br />Caranci stated this should go to the Planning Commission first and gi ve <br />Company reply in 30 days. <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />Release of check to Davidson Ditch Co. - This will again be held until <br />the adjourned meeting Mondq" 26 July 1971. Rome stated he was under <br />the impression the easement was our responsibility and the inspection <br />fees the responsibility of the Contractor. <br /> <br />Miller - vacating of alley.
