COUNCIL MINUTES SEPTEMBER 21, 1971 Meeting called to order by Mayor Lawrence Caranci. ROLL CALL: Present Tomeo, King, Berry, Mudrock, Dondelinger, Perrella. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES: Accepted as presented. CORRESPONDENCE: None ITF.t1.S ON A.GENDA: 1. Mr. Krahl of Boettcher and ~ompany pr~sented Ordinance on the Bond issue. Council decided to have ~ity Attorney approve the Ordinance and present it at Oct. 5th Meeting. 2. HiWay reco~qmendations read by Mayor as presented by Planning Commission. Motion by Dondelinger seconded by Perrella', that the City concur with Planning Commissions recom~endations and letter be sent to County Commissioners, Dept. of Development. Motiom carried. 3. Letter from J.Jistrict 5 & 6 requesting that an Ordinance be adopted requiring approval from Ditch Company of plots from new developers. Ordinance would clear problems of easements. '-. 4. Max discussed land at forty-two and Pine as a possible location for Roman Foods.Council came to the conclusion it w~s not enough space. Joe Madonna suggested keeping this area for Hi Way re- constructions. No land available in Industrial area. Max to bring Industrial area up to date. 5. Purchase of 2 shares of Howard water with potion on more also includes some J.Jry Creek shares. Notion by Kj.ng seconded by Dondelinger to purchase Howard water for $10,000. Motion ~arried. 6. Mr. Sanks reported on Church property. Church agreed to "No Fault Contract". Church wilJ ing to grant valid eAsement. City has alread incurred cost of $2,250. in delay. Max sugGested two ways to remedy this matter. 1. Relocate the line on one side of the Church. 2. For about $11,000. line cO;.\ld be taken to the west into the park land or obtain new easement from the Church on the east side t>d.s would cost approximately $8,500. This matter to be discussed at Monday night work s~ssion. Dennis Lumberg for Hous ng Renewal requested L;ity pay expenses to deliver a letter to every house in Louisville in regards to the Housing code and why it is needed. Motion by Berry seconded by King that letters be sent, City pay expenses and take out of Plan- ning account number 212-3. Notion carried. Meeting Oct. 7, 1971 Public hearing Oct. 19, 1971.
