<br />Senior Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />7/7/09 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br /> <br />Discuss City Council Sessions <br />Claudine asked all focus group chairs who have not sent their information to her <br />to get it to her by 4:30 today. Included should be accomplishments for 2008 and <br />goals and a work plan for 2009. The City Council Study Session will be on July <br />14 at 7 pm at the Louisville Library. <br /> <br />Board Openings/Annual Meeting November 11, 2009 <br />Claudine stated that Bob Pierce and Walt Oehlkers will be ending their terms in <br />the Fall, leaving two Board openings. We need to name a Nominating <br />Committee by the end of July. Claudine and Connie will meet. Larry mentioned <br />that Kate Love would like to run for the Board again. Larry will check with Joyce <br />Brassem to see if she would like to run again. Rosalie volunteered to be on the <br />Nominating Committee but is unable to because she is a Board member. <br /> <br />Other Business <br />Claudine brought up Eugenia Kowalski's suggestion that we get photos of our <br />Senior Center's seniors and post them along with obituary announcements. <br />Larry B has started taking these photos. Claudine is going to include photos with <br />announcements as applicable. <br /> <br />Bob attended the adult law session sponsored by the Boulder Bar Association <br />and found that it covered much of what he deals with in his classes on will- <br />making and estate planning. Bob is willing to teach another class on wills in the <br />Fall. <br /> <br />Discussion items for the next meeting <br />Board nominations update <br /> <br />Adjourn-Mike G moved and Larry B seconded, and it was unanimously voted <br />that the meeting be adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 pm. <br /> <br />Next meeting: Tuesday, September 25, 2009 at 1 :00 pm. <br />
