Wooten and The Art Underground worked together with BCM on a collaborative
calendar project. It is one central place to find arts scheduling. The system still
has some bugs to work out but overall is working well. If anyone needs to contact
John, they can do so at: iohn@bouldercountvarts.orQ.

VII. President's Report - Julie K.

Frost & Julie were judges for the Louisville photo contest. There were
200+ entries. Winning photos will be posted online soon.

Date for next SCFD grant awards is TBD. It will probably be in October.

VIII. Treasurer's Report -

We have a new bank: Great Western.
The City was invoiced for $10,300 which was deposited for the following
intended use: $1200 - accounting support, $3600 - Concerts in the Park, $5500
- Art in the Park.

Second quarter financials were received. See notes for document.
Projected spending for 2009 will be approximately $18,000. Therefore, the
maximum SCFD grant LCC can request next year will be approximately $3600.
LCC has some limited funding available for 2009 programming.
Recommendation is to create programming that can be self sustaining.

IX. Art Center Usage - Jim P.

Jim held a meeting with committee inclusive to arts organizations who use
the Art Center. See attached report in August meeting packet. The main
conclusions are as follows: The art center is appreciated as a free facility. There
is a desire among the majority to go back to a one-year scheduling timeframe.
The scheduling is currently on a six-month calendar, which is easier for LCC
programming - especially with regard to artists who have a busy calendar
already, or those who cannot schedule one year in advance. This is true for
coffee house concerts and concerts in the park.

Don made a motion that: The LCC shall approve the recommendations from
Jim's meeting that the programming schedule for the art center be done on an
annual basis for the following 12 months with the following caveats:
1. Friday and Saturday nights shall be reserved for events that are open
to the public.
2. If a date that is reserved is not filled with programming within 30 days,
the date will become open to any group who wishes to schedule any
programming for that date.
