<br />ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. 1278, SERIES 1998, CONVERSION OF 279 ACRE-FOOT <br />UNITS OF C-BT PROJECT WATER NOW HELD BY LOUISVILLE FROM TEMPORARY <br />USE PERMITS TO THE SECTION 131 ANNUALLY RENEWABLE WATER CONTRACT <br />A T SECOND AND FINAL READING <br /> <br />Light read by title only Ordinance No. 1278, Series 1998, "An ordinance to apply and contract for <br />beneficial use of water on behalf of the City of Louisville, Colorado, a Municipal Corporation, and <br />prescribing the terms for application for an allocation of the right to use ColoradolBig Thompson <br />Project Water to the City of Louisville by Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District." <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director, stated this is an administrative matter that meets the requirements . <br />of the Northern District to obtain the perpetual right to use C-BT project water on an annually <br />renewable basis. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing and called for anyone wishing to speak on Ordinance 1278. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments, questions or motions. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council adopt Ordinance No. 1278, Series 1998, Conversion of 279 Acre- Foot <br />Units ofC-BT Project Water now held by Louisville from Temporary Use Permits to the Section 131 <br />Annually Renewable Water Contract on second and final reading, seconded by Levihn. Roll call was <br />taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND SPECIAL REVIEW USE - 405 SO. PIERCE <br />AVENUE <br /> <br />Sisk asked to be excused from this presentation due to a conflict of interest. <br /> <br />Davidson excused Sisk. <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated Resolution No.5, Series 1998, is a final PUD amendment for <br />a development plan for Wood Technology at 405 Pierce Avenue, Louisville. In conjunction with this <br />is Resolution No.6, Series 1998, to amend a special review use for the Gandy Dancer Dance Studio. <br />In 1994, a PUD was approved for Wood Technology that provided for a two-phase expansion. The <br />first phase has been constructed. In 1995, the Gandy Dancer was approved as a special review use <br />for up to 3,240 sq. ft. of the building. They were proposing to increase their space up to 3,840 sq. <br />ft. The proposal meets setback, access and circulation requirements. The architectural treatment is <br />consistent with the originally approved plan; however, the applicant had agreed to add substantial <br />landscaping to the site along Cherry Street, as well as some additional windows and canvas awnings <br />at the entries. The Planning Commission did approve the expansion of the special review use but <br />raised concerns regarding the illumination levels on the west side of the building, requested additional <br /> <br />6 <br />
