<br />Blankenship replied yes. <br /> <br />Mayer expressed concern that the proposed land exchange was not in the City's best interest. <br /> <br />Keany asked that a note be added to the PUD identifYing signage placement. <br /> <br />Blankenship agreed. <br /> <br />Levihn asked Wood if the land exchange agreement has been voted on. <br /> <br />Wood replied no. <br /> <br />Davidson suggested that, due to parking constraints, sit-down and drive-through restaurants, plus <br />automobile services be specifically excluded on the PUD. He did not feel the applicant could use <br />open space S-) for a retention pond in addition to a setback. He would like to see more than 15' of <br />landscaping because the applicant was using 15' of City-owned land for their own purposes. <br /> <br />Sisk agreed with Davidson. <br /> <br />Levihn stated that he had received numerous comments from individuals wishing to have a sit -down <br />restaurant located closer to the movie theater which would allow them to have a meal prior to or <br />immediately after a movie. He would not like to see sit-down restaurants excluded on the PUD. <br /> <br />Lathrop agreed with Davidson and Sisk regarding additional landscaping requirements. <br /> <br />Blankenship stated they would have no objections to additional landscaping requirements and thanked <br />Council for their comments. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No.7, Series 1998, Final Subdivision Replat and <br />Final PUD Development Plan, Colony Square, as amended in the Resolution with the following <br />exceptions: the signs reduced size be placed on the PUD; Building C-2 be modified to read the <br />building will be broken up by architectural changes or by landscaping; adding amendment NO.8 to <br />place 20' oflandscaping in the open space, to be in conformance with the Landscape Beautification <br />Plan; exclude auto service repair and services, sit-down restaurants and drive-through restaurants <br />from this site; and a special improvement district be incorporated, seconded by Mayer. <br /> <br />Mayer offered a friendly amendment that the main access road from Dillon be signed for no parking. <br /> <br />Howard and seconder Mayer accepted. <br /> <br />Sisk offered a friendly amendment that the applicant agree to formalize a commitment to participate <br />in the possible future funding of McCaslin interchange improvements, including acknowledgment that <br />they will not protest inclusion in the possible special improvement district on the grounds that their <br /> <br />8 <br />
