Davidson requested that the record show the July 4th Event Coordinator 1999 Contract for Services compensation amount has been adjusted to $12,000 versus $11,500. PRESENTATION PROCLAMATION OF FAMILY CAREGIVERS' WEEK, NOVEMBER 22- 28,1998 Davidson presented a proclamation declaring November 22 -28, 1998 as Family Caregivers' Week to Emily Cooper, Program Director of the Lafayette Louisville Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers program. Emily Cooper thanked Council for recognizing the many family caregivers in the community who give so much of themselves to care for their elderly loved ones. She stated that the Lafayette Louisville Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Program is a new program to provide help to these individuals. The volunteers visit weekly with older adults who cannot be left alone, allowing the family caregivers to take a needed break. They also make weekly visits to elders living alone, helping to reconnect them to the community. She invited residents interested in these services or in becoming a volunteer caregiver to contact her at 303 665 -4562 or their local senior center.
