Approval to Conduct a Special Meeting on October 13, 2009 <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />No comments. <br /> <br />Councilor Muckle arrived at the meeting at 7:02 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported the US 313 Project received 4.3 million dollars from COOT. <br />He congratulated the US 36 Project team members and partners. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Manager Fleming introduced the new Library Director Beth Barrett. He <br />updated Council on sign code enforcement. He explained earlier in the year the <br />City relaxed the enforcement on temporary signs within the City, but since that <br />time there has been a number of complaints. Letters were sent to businesses on <br />September 18 informing them the temporary signs enforcement will begin on <br />October 15 and asking them to remove their temporary signs. <br />
