Louisville Cultural Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 15, 2009 <br />Recreation Center <br />900 West Via Appia <br />7:00 <br />PM <br />Call to Order <br />I. – Maryan Jaross call the meeting to order at 7:06pm. Lynn <br />Wooton seconded. All present in favor <br />Roll Call <br />II. was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Maryan Jaross, Lynn Wooton, Jim Pollicita, Don <br />Atwood, Andy Langford, and Carol Cheh <br /> Board Members Absent: Julie Kovash, Rebecca Lasica, Susan McNamara, <br />and Farren Wyner <br /> Staff Members Present: Julie Seydel and Kathy Martin <br /> Members of City Council absent: Frost Yarnell <br />Assign Recording Secretary <br /> – Lynn Wooton was assigned <br />Approval of Agenda <br />III. - Don Atwood moved to approve the agenda. Andy <br />Langford seconded the agenda was approved by all members. <br />Approval of Minutes <br />IV.– Don Atwood moved to approve the minutes. Andy <br />Langford seconded. The minutes were approved by all members. <br />. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda <br />V - none <br />President's Report <br />VI. – Maryan for Julie <br /> Maryan Jaross spoke to Julie Kovash this afternoon, and Julie would like to <br />keep money aside to have the LCC functioning properly. Julie has decided not to <br />have the Orchestra for the Silent Movie Event. It will save approximately $700. <br />Don Atwood disagrees with Julie’s decision of not having the Orchestra. <br />Julie deposited the $2200 SCFD check after attending the ceremony this week <br />and an additional check for $135, which represents the entry fees for Paint <br />Louisville. The balance that day, including the deposits, was $22,178.99. <br />Our next meeting will be moved to 11/12.It will be a budget meeting to tell us <br />where the money is.
