'~ <br />.Ff• <br />Senior Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 15, 2009 <br />Senior Center <br />900 West Via Appia <br />1:00 PM <br />Call to Order Connie called the meeting to order at 1:00 pm. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Connie Howes, Walt Oehlker, Carol Purfurst, <br />Rosalie Lynn, Bob Pierce, Claire Floyd, Larry Brassem <br />Board Members Absent: Michael Goss, Barbara Peterson (also AAC <br />Representative); Barbara Wilson (AAC Representative <br />Staff Members Present: Claudine Low, Senior Services Supervisor; Joe <br />Stevens, Director of Parks and Recreation; Dave Clabots, City Council <br />Liaison <br />Staff Members Absent: None <br />Guests: New 2010 Board members Kate Love and Georgianna Yoder <br />Approval of Agenda -Connie asked that items 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 (except for the <br />audit) be tabled until the January 2010 meeting. Moved, and seconded that the <br />agenda, minus these items, be approved. Agenda approved. <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes -Rosalie moved and Larry seconded that the <br />September minutes be approved. Minutes approved. <br />Public Comments - Joe DeSouza asked that block print be used for name tags <br />to make them easier to read. He suggested that some kind of volunteer group be <br />formed to give rides to seniors to medical appointments.
