Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 27, Series 1998 - Amended Final PUD <br />Development Plan and Special Review Use for an Expansion of the Existing Fire Station #2 at 895 <br />Via Appia, seconded by Keany. <br /> <br />Sisk offered a friendly amendment to include the voluntary Prairie Dog Management Plan submitted <br />by the Fire District as an amendment, accepted by Howard and Keany. <br /> <br />Davidson pointed out that he felt that adding this amendment would exceed Council's authority. <br /> <br />Sisk withdrew his amendment. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 6-0 vote. <br /> <br />Dhieux stated that the Fire District would like to extend a gentleman's agreement to the City to <br />follow the voluntary Prairie Dog Management Plan submitted with this PUD. <br /> <br />RECEIVE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION - FINAL SUBDIVISION <br />REPLAT CENTENNIAL VALLEY, PARCEL 'O' AND A FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN FOR SAM'S CLUB <br /> <br />Davidson called for staff introduction. <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, forwarded Planning Commission recommendations along with a <br />summary of the applicant's response to the recommendations. He stated staff recommends that the <br />request be scheduled for City Council at the next regular meeting on June 16, 1998. He was then <br />available to answer any questions. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />Steve Wilson, CLC Associates, expressed willingness to address any Council concems and was <br />available to answer questions. <br /> <br />Davidson called for any public comments. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions and comments. <br /> <br />Sisk stated he disapproves of the sales tax rebate because he feels refunding to the merchant makes <br />little sense compared to earlier Council decisions regarding Home Depot, Eagle Hardware, etc. He <br />expected the monies would be used to exceed the design guidelines, which is not the case. He is <br />opposed to subsidizing a large corporation such as Sam's Club. <br /> <br /> <br />
