Lathrop agreed with Sisk's concem; however, he also feels the property would appreciate <br />significantly over the next year and Council would be wise to move forward to avoid paying more <br />than the current asking price. <br /> <br />Keany moved that Council authorize the expenditure of $75,000 from the City of Louisville General <br />Fund for purchase of 10 affordable apartments in Regal Court/Regal Place, seconded by Sisk. Roll <br />call was taken. Motion passed by a 6-0 vote. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 28, SERIES 1998 - REPEALING RESOLUTION No. 8, SERIES 1998 <br /> <br />Davidson called for staff introduction. <br /> <br />Sam Light, City Attorney, stated that in February 1998, Council passed Resolution No. 8 which <br />approved a form land exchange agreement with Colony Square, LLC, for portions of the vacated <br />80th Street fight-of-way. Certain conditions precedent to any such land exchange have not yet been <br />fulfilled; therefore, it is recommended that City Council at this time repeal its prior approval of the <br />form agreement. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 28, Series 1998 - Repealing Resolution No. 8, <br />Series 1998, seconded by Keany. He extended an invitation from the Boulder City Council <br />to meet with the Louisville City Council on Wednesday, June 10. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Davidson requested that Council provide some guidance to staff in determining if street lights should <br />be required in the industrial area of the Business Center and the Park at CTC.
