<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 2, 2010 <br />Page 2 of 12 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk recused himslelf trom the vote on Consent Agenda Item 4D - <br />Conversion to Custody Account at Wells Fargo. He disclosed he is on the Wells <br />Fargo Advisory Board in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. He called for <br />changes to the consent algenda and hearing none, moved to approve Consent <br />Agenda Items A, B, C, E. and F. The motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tern <br />Marsella. All were in favor. Absent: Councilors Dalton, Yarnell and Muckle. <br />Consent Agenda Item 4D could not be voted on due to a lack of quorum. <br /> <br />A. Approval of Bms <br />B. Award Bid to B & G Equipment Inc. for Compact Tractor <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMME:NTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO reviewed his email response <br />to Mayor Sisk's email rel8ltivE~ to his continued complaint with Comcast Cable <br />Television. In his email msponse.Mr. Sobel was in agreement with Mayor Sisk's <br />statement regarding Comcast Cable service notification process and other <br />practices. He disagreed with Mayor Sisk's email statement regarding the City's <br />response to his complaints against Comcast Cable Television. He thanked Mayor <br />Sisk for participating in the diiscussion. <br /> <br />Councilor Muckle arrived at the meeting at 7:12 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilor Clabots thanked the local businesses and all the volunteers who <br />supported the annual Heat Flelief Dinner on Thursday, February 18. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk voiced his aplPreciation for Mr. Sobel's email and felt some of his <br />issues with Comcast havl3 merit. He noted the City is represented by the GMTC <br />on Cable Television mattl3rs and assured Mr. Sobel the City is not tied to <br />Comcast. He stated Comcast pays taxes to the City and noted there are other <br />cable television options available to the residents. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported the US 36 Mayors and Commissioners Coalition attended <br />transportation meetings in Wfashington, D.C. last week and noted Speaker of the <br />House Nancy Pelosi visitl3d the Corridor recently to view the project. The US 36 <br />Project was one of only six transportation programs in the country that received <br />
