Senior Business Manager — Civil Space Systems November 2000 - February 2007 <br />Responsible for all business aspects on major development projects (Deep Impact and Kepler) <br />including preparation and submission of change proposals, budget development, program <br />planning, contract negotiations, pricing, performance measurement system implementation, and <br />cost/schedule control /reporting in a strict cost - capped environment. Provide input to annual <br />operating plan and financial forecasting of sales and earnings. Responsibilities also included <br />preparing and presenting project financial status to BATC senior management and customer. <br />Managed a highly effective team of business analysts that provided excellent reporting and <br />financial analysis to the projects. <br />Senior Business Manager — Technology Products July 1999 - November 2000 <br />Prepared new business plans and proposals, developed strategic and operating financial plans, <br />managed financial performance of multiple programs, provided subcontract management and <br />functional management of business management personnel. Responsible for annual operating <br />plan, quarterly EAC/ forecast process, pricing, and development of business cases for <br />commercial opportunities. <br />Business Manager /Subcontract Program Manager Defense Systems —Prospector Program <br />July 1995 -July 1999 <br />•Program manager of a $60M subcontract that was completed successfully and met all cost, <br />schedule, and technical requirements. It was a very large and complex HW /SW project that <br />successfully transitioned from the detailed design phase through system integration and <br />checkout. <br />•Supervised project control functions that included pricing, budget development, proposal <br />preparation, performance measurement, change management, and quarterly EAC process. <br />Developed streamlined management processes and innovative cost reduction approaches in a <br />cost - capped environment. <br />•Supervised the program planning function on a $400M program. Worked closely with the <br />customer to successfully turn around their perception of our project management capabilities <br />resulting in significant improvement in award fee scores. <br />Senior Business Analyst 1987 -1995 <br />•Provided project management expertise to various HW and SW projects using project <br />management software and other performance metrics as required. <br />•Helped develop the Performance Measurement System Description and procedures, provided <br />training to Control Account Managers, and presented our project management system to the <br />government review team for C /SCSC validation. <br />Rockwell International., May 1985 — November 1987 <br />Senior Business Analyst <br />•Assisted in a highly successful implementation of an MRP II system for a state -of- the -art high <br />volume manufacturing facility. <br />•Implemented and provided training for the master planning, shop floor control, inventory <br />control, and material planning modules. <br />24 2 <br />
