As a resident and neighbor, 1 thank you.
Golf attracts business people, retired investors, families and friends — all
desirable demographics. Many executives and business people recreate at golf
Business deals are made on golf courses. Having an active, "best of breed"
course dramatically enhances a town's profile to employers and entrepreneurs.
The Coal Creek Golf Course is probably one of Louisville's largest single assets.
It also may have the greatest up -side potential over what it is today. It has room
to grow in terms of performance.
Having a volunteer, business- oriented board lead by the vision, energy and
experience of someone like Ken Gambon would almost certainly be the surest,
best way to maximize this tremendously significant asset of the citizens of
Louisville.
Thank you for this opportunity for Louisville's future.
Sincerely,
Dana Alford
I believe the Golf Course Advisory Board is a concrete action that will help
• Fulfill our stewardship role of this very significant and costly asset owned by all
Louisville citizens,
• Contribute to the ``livability" of Louisville for generations, and
• Will significantly add to the desirability of Louisville as a destination for
employers, entrepreneurs and investors.
Because of this I would like to contribute to that advisory board. I believe I can play a
role in the areas of data collection, financial analysis, customer services management,
business planning and development and performance measurement.
8
Alford, GCAB, 1 of 2
