Citizens Advisory Committee <br /> Was opposed. to request. <br /> Councilman Xing moved to deny request by Vantage <br /> Homes for 33 water taps. Seconded by Council- <br /> man Donovan. Roll call vote - Deborski yes, <br /> Xing yes, Jensen no, Donovan yes, Scholl yes, <br /> Domenico no. Motion carried. <br /> H. State Aiva RISo®endationa <br /> c oven nova to concur with the <br /> Planning Commission's recommendations for Stets <br /> Hiways. Seconded by Councilman Deborski. All <br /> in favor. Notion carried. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS: legislative Committee: Mayor Caranci appointed <br /> City Administrator-Vail to the Colorado Municipal <br /> League Legislative Committee. for 1974. <br /> Police Dept. Secretarial Position: Mayor Caranci <br /> advised that since ttie secretarial position for <br /> the Police Department is a permanent position <br /> it should be advertised in the paper and posted. <br /> Councilman Deborski moved that the permanent <br /> position of Secretary for the Police Department <br /> be pospeddin the paper. Seconded by Councilman <br /> King. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Domenico remarked he was against <br /> hiring any more office help. <br /> Street Overla : Councilman Deborski remarked <br /> t t t contractors had not rolled along the <br /> curb. City Administrator Mir! advised that they <br /> had extended the overlay beyond the gutter. <br /> Municipal Election: Councilman Donovan stated <br /> we are going into election time and it is past <br /> time to chi Wards. Councilman Jensen moved <br /> that City Attorney Morris prepare an Ordinance <br /> for publication for the first week of October <br /> to adjust the salaries of Councilmen and the <br /> City Clerk. Seconded by Councilman Donovan. <br /> All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> Railroad Walkwa : Councilman King stated he would <br /> e to pursue the possibility of constructing <br /> steps up each side of the railroad making it <br /> easier to get up town. City Administrator Wurl <br /> to pursue this possibility. <br /> - 2 - <br />
