He stated <br /> that he felt the land that has been sold <br /> for industrial use had not amounted to <br /> anything profitable and he would like <br /> for the City to keep the land. <br /> After discussion Councilman Berry moved <br /> that the City Administrator be authorised <br /> to meet with the Rod 6 Gun Club for <br /> response on the sale of the property. <br /> Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Mr. Wurl is to contact Mr. Birmingham <br /> and ask him to be present at a meeting <br /> to discuss the matter. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br /> ORDINANCE #444 Attorney Morris read the Ordinance regarding <br /> 2ND READING the adoption of the Model Traffic Code. <br /> Councilwoman Scholl moved that Ordinance <br /> #444 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br /> DiCarlo. There were no remarks <br /> during the Public Hearing. Roll call <br /> on motion. Berry yes, Scholl yes. DelPizzo <br /> yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> ORDINANCE #446 Attorney Morris read Ordinance #446 re- <br /> WATER TAP FEE garding Water Tap Fee increase. Coun- <br /> cilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance #446 <br /> be ordered published. Seconded by Coun- <br /> cilman Berry. Under discussion Mr. Wurl <br /> informed Council that the Finance Com- <br /> mittee came up with the amount of $1,200.00 <br /> for the water cap fee. Councilmen DelPixxo <br /> and DiCarlo stated that they reviewed the <br /> recommendations of the consultants, a <br /> price installation sheet from Wood Brothers, <br /> and also various increases caused by in- <br /> flation from the time of the last tap <br /> increase. Councilman DiCarlo stated that <br /> it was also taken into consideration if <br /> Coal Creek was not followed through the <br /> City would need improvements on the water <br /> plants. <br /> The increase is approximately 20% of the <br /> total tap fees. <br /> Dennis Lundberg asked if there would be <br /> anything in the Ordinance as to pro- <br /> viding services for non-profit organizations <br /> such as LCDC. Mr. Wurl stated that it is <br /> impossible to give any taps away. If <br /> Council wishes to give the money back <br />
