COUNCIL COMMENTS A COMMITTEE REPORTS FIRE OEPARTIENT COMMENDATION Councilman Doisnico stated that he would like to command the fire department for the hard work they did over the Labor Day weekend and also to Fire Chief Elrod for putting the . fire department on stand by duty during the weekend. HIGH SPEED TRAFFIC . Councilman DelPizzo asked that the Police LINCOLN i JEFFERSON ST. Department watch the high speed traffice during the late hours on Lincoln I Jefferson St. W1UNIT STREET i RAILROAD TRACKS Councilman DelPizzo stated that he has spoken with residents on the east side of the railroad tracks in regards to the opening of Walnut Street. He stated that he spoke with the City Engineer who felt there would be much engineering to get the problem cleared. He requested that Council review the situation and get their feelings on the matter. Coun- cil set a viewing of the situation on September 3, 1975, at 6:00 P.M. TREE ZONATIONS Mayor Wschak stated that he would lib Mr. bhirl to speak with Mr. Helart on the donation of two trees of Mrs. ;reheats. He stated that they are Slue Spruce and he would like to • see the City get them if the cost of mewing, them is not out of reason.
