Resolution No. 3 - Community evelopment Funding This rsfatss to requeiE on the part of a group that has been formed requesting of Congress that they continue the funding at the present level in the 750 cities that are intitlement cities, that are under 50 thousand in - population, which area vs fall into. Recommendation that Council adopt Resolution No. 3. Item 7. City Administrator's Report A. 208 Waste Water Management Enclosed under separate cover the information relating to 208 Waste Water Management. If you recall sometime back we took the position that we would rather that Boulder County be the planning agency for 208 in place of DRCOG. What I have enclosed is an evaluation from DRCOG and a summary from DRCOG as to why they feel thats not appro- priate. I've also enclosed the comments from the County. It basically appears that our decision should be based on who would we prefer to deal with in the future as relates to sewer waste water treatment, management, waste water treatment grants and so forth. I think we simply have to decide who we have the most confidence in and who we feel we can work with the best. •7 3. Colorado Mbnici,pal League Regusst' - Re - Mountain Bell - . Niountan Sail as you Um, has applied for a substantial increase in telephone rates. Normally when this happens the Colorado tnicipal League hires competent attorneys to fight that request. They are presently in the throws of doing so. What they have asked us for is a comittment, outlined in the letter, for our share of the cost. Recom- mending that we do so. C.
