Mr. Wurl stated that it is staffs recoemrndation that Alexander Grant & Co. , the City auditors, should be used. Councilmen McDonald moved that the City obtain Alexander Grant & Co. , to do the CDBG pro- gram audit. Seconded by Councilmen DiCarlo. Motion carried. WILLIAM OLSEN REQUEST Mr. Wurl read the letter from Mr. Olsen re- garding the purchasing of City land located behind property owned by Marvin Pierce and Seney de Yoanna. Mr. Wurl stated that Pierce and dsYoanna have an option on the land and would be willing to release the option to Mr. Olsen, however, he did not feet it would be to the City's advantage to accept the offer as the option will be up in September. After comments Councilman McDonald moved that the Olsen request for the purchase of the pro- perty be denied. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried. CORRESPONDENCE Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence. SNEDDON RESIGNATION Mr. Wurl read the letter from Robert Sneddon on his resignation from the Planning Commission. Councilman DelPizzo moved that the resignation be accepted. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Motion carried. Councilman McDonald then moved that Sneddons position be advertised in the paper through July 29, 1977. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. With no more to report Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City Administrators report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by _ : Councilman McDonald. Motion carried. CODICIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS Councilman Domenico stated that the stations have called on the amount of business they are GAS STATION BUSINESS receiving from the City. Mr. Wurl stated that would check it out again.
