Seconded by Councilman <br /> DiLorenzo. Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS & <br /> COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> PARKS LARD IN SO. LOUISVILLE Councilman DiCarlo asked about the pro- <br /> gress of land acquisition in the south end <br /> of Louisville. <br /> Mr. Wurl stated that the indications from <br /> the home owners is that they are interested <br /> in selling except one party and that an <br /> appraisal had been ordered. <br /> SOUTH ST. EAST OF TRACKS Councilman DiCarlo asked if there were <br /> plans on getting that street fixed. <br /> Mr. hurl stated that the plane are for <br /> temporary work and that the City is trying <br /> to get more funds under a giant to do the <br /> complete work as the bids came in $48,000 <br /> higher than anticipated. <br /> SIDEWALK PROGRESS Councilman DiCarlo asked about the side- <br /> walk progress. Mtr. Wurl stated that the <br /> program is still in progress and certain <br /> properties are scheduled for installation <br /> this year. <br /> FENCES Councilman Meier requested that the City <br /> contract the home owners on Via Appia in <br /> regards to their fences that need repairs. <br /> CEMETERY MEETING Councilman DelPizzo asked if there has been <br /> any new reports on the Cemetery matter. <br /> Mr. Wurl stated that letter have been sent <br /> out and some have been received, mostly <br /> favorable from the members of the KP. <br /> 1 <br />
