0 <br /> September 13, 1978 <br /> Honorable Mayor <br /> Members of the City Council <br /> City of Louisville <br /> Louisville, Colorado 80027 <br /> Gentlemen: <br /> I respectfully submit my application to serve as a member of the <br /> City Council and complete the term of office of the late Mary <br /> Dihorenso in Ward 1, iauisvilleā Colorado. <br /> I have been a resident of Louisville, Colorado since 1946, serving <br /> on the Louisville City Council. fry 1964 to 1966 as an <br /> member and from 1987 to 1968 to replace Edward Mharteiie wi d <br /> resigned. <br /> I have been employed by Schriber Decorating, Inc. since 1946 as <br /> a Painting Superintendent on construction, the last thirteen years ss <br /> on-site Painting Foreman of the IBM Plant at Niwot, representing <br /> Schriber Decorating, Esc. <br /> I am a member of the Boulder Elks lodge 566, Lafayette Masonic Lodge, <br /> Louisville Post 111 of the American Legion, having served in Great <br /> Britai- and Europe in World War II. I have been a member of the <br /> Building and Construction Trades Painters Union since 1940. <br /> My' wife, Eileen, is a Boulder County native, born in Superior and <br /> educated in -Louisville schools. Ws have two children - Michael of <br /> Houston, Texas, a Maureen, living at hone, both of wham received <br /> their early education in Louisville and graduated from the University <br /> of Colorado and University of Northern Colorado respectively. <br /> With our deep attachment to this town and Boulder County, I feel <br /> that I could represent Ward I effectively. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Charles D.
