Minutes - page 3 410 . December 5, 1978 ORDINANCE NO. 626 All members of Council had before them FIRST RRADING a copy of Ordinance No 626 for their FAIR HOUSING review and files. Attorney Joss read the ordinance on first reading by title only stating that this ordinance would sake it unlawful to dis- criminate in regards to housing and real estate transactions. Staff stated that this ordinance was pre- pared to help satisfy some of HMIs re- quests. With no other comments Councilman DiCarlo moved that ordinance No. 626 be put out for publication. . Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 38 Attorney Joss read the Resolution in full. PARKING RESTRICTIONS stating that it had been requested by two businesses to have parking ;limitation signs installed for all hours of the day. After council discussion Councilman Berry moved that Resolution No. 38, Series 1978 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. Council asked about the enforcement of the regulation. Chief Munger stated that at this time they have not assigned the duty of patrol, but are working on it. APPROVAL CITY ATTORNEY REPORT Councilman Caranci moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded.by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT COUNCIL PAY PERIODS Mr. Wurl stated that with the computer payments will have to be made monthly. Councilman Berry moved that authorization be granted to issue Council pay monthly. Seconded by Councilman Caranci. Motion carried. Payment will begin January 1979. WATER SHARES Mr. Wuri reported that Mr. Williamson would like to purchase 55 water shares; - however, he did not have the contract ready for review. Council felt it would be best to schedule s continued meeting to discuss the pur- chase and review the contract.
