Motion carried. • <br /> MOUNTAIN STATER PIPE & Councilman Meier moved that pay estimate <br /> SUPPLY PAY EST. #2 #2 be made to Mountain States Pi & Supply <br /> in the amount of $2,955.65, the final pay- <br /> ment . Seconded by Councilman Berry. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> TAYLOR EXCAVATING PAY Councilman DiCarlo moved that pay estimate <br /> EST. #8 #8 be made to Taylor Excavating in the <br /> amount of $3,149.32. Seconded by Council- <br /> man Berry. Motion carried. <br /> C.W.N. CONSTRUCTION Councilman Berry moved that payment to <br /> PAY EST. #2 C.H.N. Construction be approved in the <br /> COMMJNITY BUILDING amount of $1,647.45. Seconded by Council- <br /> man DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> AUDIENCE COMMENTS There were no audience comments. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br /> RESOLUTION #15 Attorney Joss read Resolution #15 in full <br /> APPOINTMENT OF CLERK stating that the adoption of this resol- <br /> & TREASURER ution will put it on the ballot determining <br /> whether the City Clerk and Treasure should <br /> be appointed. <br /> Councilman Berry moved that Resolution #15 <br /> be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION #16 Attorney Joss read Resolution #16 in full <br /> INCREASING THE SALES TAX stating that the adoption of this resol- <br /> FROM 2% TO 3% ution will put it on the ballot to determine <br /> whether the City sales tax should be in- <br /> creased from 2% to 3%. <br /> Councilman DiCarlo moved that Resolution <br /> #16 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br /> Caranci. Motion carried. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 661 All members of Council had before them a <br /> FIRST READING copy of Ordinance No. 661 for their review <br /> ALLEY VACATION and file. <br /> Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 661 on <br /> first reading by title only. <br /> Mr. Wurl reported that the request was made <br /> by Vicki Mandell-King and others had stated <br /> their desires for the vacation. <br /> Councilman Berry moved that Ordinance No. <br /> 661 be amended whereas the alley way is <br /> abandoned that the City reserve easement <br /> rights on that property. .
