Hioco, end City Clark Stab] . * ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Councilmen Carnival moved that the minutes from the September 2 1980 meeting be accepted as presented. Seconded by Coun- cilman Meier. Motion carried. ITEMS ENCLOSED Councilman Domenico moved that the items enclosed be accepted and brought up under the proper head of business. Seconded by Councilman Carnival. Motion carried. COUNCIL ITEMS APPOINTMENT OF NEW Mayor Caranci noted that the appointment COUNCILMAN WARD II would be made by secret ballot from the Council for the following applicants. Stephen L. Arrasmith, Don Cummings, Vivian R. Dhieux, Connie Cabel, John T. Leary, Joseph Ray, and Mary Louise Shipton. Voting by Council was as follows: Arrasmith - 0; Cummings -• 3; Dhieux - 0; Cabel - 0; Leary - 0; Ray - 0; Shipton - 2. Donald Cummings was announced as the new Council representative for Ward II. City Clerk Stahl gave the oath of office to Mr. Cummings, and he than took his position on the Council. Mayor Caranci congratulated W. Cummings along with Council on his new appointment. ELECTION OF MAYOR Councilman Carnival nominated Herman Fauson, PRO-TEM Councilman Domenico nominated Norbert Meier. Councilman Carnival then moved that nomin- ations cease. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Secret vote was made by Council. Following are the results from the election for Miayor Pro-tem. Fauson - 4; Maier - 2. Councilman Fauson was voted as the new Mayor Pro-tem. FINANCE COMMITTEE Mayor Caranci appointed Councilman Domenico APPOINTMENT to the finance committee. A1/4 /J TE
