Director of amity Development Rupp, Police Chief Leeman, Director of Community Services *loco, City Engineer Blanchard, Chief Accountant Carenci, Planner Sandell, and Acting City Clerk Hudrock. ACCIPTAMCB OF MINUTES Mayor Carenci and Council approved the minutes of February_17, 1481 as pre- sented. ITEMS ENCLOSED Councilman Domenico moved that the items en+cloied be accepted and brought up under the proper bead of business. Seconded by Councilman Carnival. Question called for All in favor. Motion carried. COUNCIL IBS Mayor Caranci opened the public hearing RICHARD ROSS - BLACK DLAMOND and asked Attorney Joss if everything LIQUOR LICENSE PUBLIC HEARING was in order. Attorney Joss replied that it was and advised Council that this was a new liquor license application by Richard Ross to be located at 732 Main St. Each member of council had a copy of the application, proposed design of the interior. Letters of reference had been provided previously. Mayor Carenci called for persons sup- porting the application. 1 RICHARD ROSS Ur. Ross spoke in support of the appli- cation. Re stated that with the growth of the area - Centennial Valley Mall, Pow Wow and the rsvttilisat on of the downtown area there was a definite need for his type of establishment. He had 63 signatures on his petition to substantiate need. The interior of his establishment would be reminiscent of the old mining era, including cabanas. Mayor Caranci asked if there was anyone present opposed to the application. None. r ifr/
