4 4110 <br /> 5/5/81 F,..ge - 3 <br /> Council advised that they would answer <br /> Mrs. Laurence's complaint later in the <br /> meeting, as other neighbors planned to <br /> attend. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT City Attorney Joe, read the ordinance by <br /> BSCS ANNEXATION 2ND READING title only and certified proper publication. <br /> PUBLIC NEARING CONTINUANCE <br /> Director Rupp advised Council this was a <br /> 14 acre parcel and showed a slide presen- <br /> tation of the area north of South Boulder <br /> Road near the top of Mesa. The slides <br /> shown depicted the character and style <br /> of the buildings, and the area adjacent <br /> to the property, i.e. Conttnential View <br /> Subdivision, Louisville Reservoir to the <br /> north, to the east the Mormon Church pro- <br /> perty and the RM parcel, adjacent to Mesa <br /> Point, presently undeveloped and proposed <br /> for Townhouses. As a part of the annexa- <br /> tion agreement the open space and trails <br /> system was shown. The map showed Public <br /> Service's r-o-w on the east side of the <br /> property and carried Office zoning, the <br /> open space area was 12% land dedication <br /> that staff was requesting. Part of the <br /> open space will be used for drainage, <br /> protection for the Louisville Reservoir <br /> and for the open space trail system. <br /> The last slide showed the proposed master <br /> plan for BSCS - the one existing building <br /> and sometime in the future proposed build- <br /> ings. <br /> After the slide presentation he advised <br /> Council, staff, city attorney, and appli- <br /> cant had reached an agreement on the annex- <br /> ation, and staff recommended approval of <br /> the annexation and office zoning. <br /> W LIAM V. BAYER PJESID NT Stated that they were. . . willing to deed <br /> REPRESENTING B Cs the open space land at the earliest possible <br /> time. <br /> Mayor Caranc{ sckcd if there was anyone in <br /> the audience supporting the annexation.
