i . 8/18/81 Page -8- ACCEPTANCE OF CITY A'TTORNEY'S Councilman Domenico moved that the City REPORT Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman DelPi.sso. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. CITY AD'IINI STTRATOR'S REPORT None. COUNCIL COMMENTS Councilman Fauson inquired if there was Councilman Fauson an ordinance pertaining to the truck load limit •- there was severe road damage from trucks traveling on 95th St. Administrator Wurl advised we have one for ,cairn St. only. Councilman Meier Expressed a desire to have the correspondence to and from Boulder County regarding the STC North annexation. Director Rupp advised a referral letter, along with an impact statement was sent to Boulder County. After receiving the material they requested a meeting with us, the County, and possibly the City of Broomfield on future traffic and trans- portation impacts on STC's :present and . future development. Councilman Meier suggested that Director Rupp send a letter to either Robert Farley or David Pampu of DRCOG for their comments. Rupp also advised as part of the application other agencies that would be effected by our request were included. The letter received • from David Pampu indicated they would be contacting the School District, Fire Dis- trict, Boulder County, as well as adjacent cities relative to our request to amend our urban services area. BUDGET STUDY SESSION Mayor Caranci reminded members of Council of the Budget Study Session at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, evening, August 19, 1981 WATER STUDY SESSION This session was postponed from August 17, 1981 until Monday evening August 24, 1981 at 7 :00 P.M. Mayor Caranci also remarked that the cats in his vicinity are becoming a real problem.
