The request was for publi- cation and public hearing date be set for September 15, 1981. PUBLICATION AND PUBLIC HEARING Councilman Domenico moved that Ordinance #730 - STC North Annexation be put out for publication -and the public hearing set for September 15, 1981. Seconded by Councilman Brown. Councilman Pauson Stated there was a letter from Boulder County Planning Commission - he requested this letter be included in the packets before the public hearing. Director Rupp advised that it would be in- cluded. Councilman Meier Inquired if this annexation was included in our Urban Services area. • Director Rupp advised it presently is out- side the urban services area, but the City has requested an amendment to the urban services and development plan with DRCOG. We are now in the process with the review of this area as well as other parcels Within our urban service area. A reply has been received from DRCOC stating that our appli- cation is in order for the urban service change and is scheduled for their normal procedure. It will come before the Regional Planning Advisory Council in late September, and scheduled for the full DRCOG council in November. Councilman Meier remarked that since he is the City's representative with DRCOG he was concerned the amendment to the urban services area was not resolved before the ordinance came before Council. Director Rupp advised that a referral had been sent to Boulder County and their con- cerns are relevant to the impacts the annexation may have. They have expressed an interest that they meet with Louisville, Boulder County, and other effected agencies, perhaps Broomfield regarding traffic. Administrator Wurl was in attendance at the last Planning Commission meeting and expressed his willingness to meet with the STC people, Boulder County regarding traffic - both to
