The request was for publi- <br /> cation and public hearing date be set for <br /> September 15, 1981. <br /> PUBLICATION AND PUBLIC HEARING Councilman Domenico moved that Ordinance <br /> #730 - STC North Annexation be put out for <br /> publication -and the public hearing set for <br /> September 15, 1981. Seconded by Councilman <br /> Brown. <br /> Councilman Pauson Stated there was a letter from Boulder County <br /> Planning Commission - he requested this <br /> letter be included in the packets before <br /> the public hearing. <br /> Director Rupp advised that it would be in- <br /> cluded. <br /> Councilman Meier Inquired if this annexation was included <br /> in our Urban Services area. <br /> • Director Rupp advised it presently is out- <br /> side the urban services area, but the City <br /> has requested an amendment to the urban <br /> services and development plan with DRCOG. <br /> We are now in the process with the review <br /> of this area as well as other parcels Within <br /> our urban service area. A reply has been <br /> received from DRCOC stating that our appli- <br /> cation is in order for the urban service <br /> change and is scheduled for their normal <br /> procedure. It will come before the Regional <br /> Planning Advisory Council in late September, <br /> and scheduled for the full DRCOG council <br /> in November. <br /> Councilman Meier remarked that since he is <br /> the City's representative with DRCOG he was <br /> concerned the amendment to the urban services <br /> area was not resolved before the ordinance <br /> came before Council. <br /> Director Rupp advised that a referral had <br /> been sent to Boulder County and their con- <br /> cerns are relevant to the impacts the <br /> annexation may have. They have expressed <br /> an interest that they meet with Louisville, <br /> Boulder County, and other effected agencies, <br /> perhaps Broomfield regarding traffic. <br /> Administrator Wurl was in attendance at the <br /> last Planning Commission meeting and expressed <br /> his willingness to meet with the STC people, <br /> Boulder County regarding traffic - both to <br />
