MEMO Page -2 - <br /> Item 5. Council Items Cont'd <br /> D. The budget is submitted based on discussions held in study <br /> sessions with the following options. <br /> After discussion with the County Assessor our assessed <br /> valuation increased both totally and in the the categories <br /> exempted from the 7% limitation. The difference provided us <br /> with an additional revenue of $27 ,000. <br /> The options contained in the adopting resolution are as out- <br /> lined below: <br /> Option 1 Budget as submitted. <br /> Option 2 Reduce transfers by the $27 ,000 amount mentioned above. <br /> Option 3 Reduce transfers by $7,000 and adds $20,000 to the <br /> budget thereby eliminating the necessity of reducing our <br /> work force as projected in Option 1. <br /> E. Hospital Advisory Board - Appointments <br /> We are attempting to confirm any interest on the part of <br /> certain individuals to serve on the Hospital Advisory <br /> Committee. The following people are being contacted: <br /> Frances DelPizzo <br /> Chuck Schmidt <br /> Mel Malfitano <br /> A Policeman <br /> Item 6. Items from people in attendance not appearing on the agenda. <br /> Item 7. City Attorney' s Report <br /> A. Ordinance #767 - Commercial Amusement Devices - 1st Reading <br /> This ordinance is enclosed for your consideration on 1st <br /> reading. <br /> B. Ordinance #774 - A. C. Nielsen - Industrial Revenue Bonds <br /> The Industrial Revenue Bond Ordinance requested by the <br /> A. C. Nielsen Co. is enclosed for your consideration on <br /> 1st Reading. <br /> C. D. 6 E. Resolutions No. 31 , 32, and 33 were outlined <br /> previously under the Budget Hearing - Item #5D <br /> F. Resolution #34 - Hillside Square <br /> This resolution relates to the City sponsored low-cost <br /> housing project at this location. The information relating <br /> to this including the Planning Commission's recommendation <br /> is enclosed for your consideration. <br />
