Fire and Plumbing Codes.
Copy of the ordinances are enclosed for first reading.
Suggested date for the public hearings is February 15 , 1983.
F. Resolution #2 - Louisville Medical Associates - Industrial
Revenue Bonds .
Enclosed is a copy of the resolution of intent on the part
of the City to issue the bonds sometime in t'-.e future .
G. Jacobs/Kahan - Report on Bankruptcy Status
The Attorney informed me that some of the councilmembers re-
quested this item appear on the agenda, and he will give a
report on it.
Item 8. City Administrator' s Report
A. Hillsborough West Park - Report
Enclosed are copies of a preliminary outline on the proposed
park in Hillsborough West. We would like to request Council' s
formal approval and inclusion in the Capital Improvements pro-
gram so as to provide for the future funding that is required;
but initially we have provided for a phasing of the park develop-
ment so as to incorporate the efforts on behalf of the neighbors
to get the project started. 'his would be one phase that we
could do with our participation to whatever extent i_ necessary
in r`lat phase that would complete it by dividing the funding
necessary over and above what has been solicited.
We could actually go into Phase 1 . Phase 1 of the project is
outlined and the costs stated; and there is sufficient money
in the Parks Service Expansion Fund to build those segments
of the park. The total figure is $57 ,816 . 05 , anticipating
that we could hopefully budget in 1984 for the final phase
which would complete the park. To sum up - what we need is
formal action that we include the completion of the perk in
our Capital Improvements programs and as part of our park plans.
Secondly, for us to proceed with budget amendments that would
provide for funding in 1983 either the preliminary phase or
the first phase . Staff is recommending that we do Phase 1 of
the project .
B. Main Street Parking Problem
bnclosed is a map and memo from the City Engineer, as well
as a memo from John Lantermaa, Assistant Planner, which basi-
cally provides Council with the history of the parking situation
