Self explanatory
Item 3. Self explanatory
Item 4, Self explanatory
Item 5. Items enclosed should be accepted and brought up under the proper
head of business.
Item 6. Council Items
A. L. D. C. Report and request for funds . Enclosed in the packet
you will find a copy of a report in letter form from the L.D.C.
outlining recent events and additionally requesting the $25,000.00
that the City has on deposit as a result of the Superior Enter-
change Agreement.
B. Louisville Fire Department - Request for steet closure. Enclosed
in the packet is a letter from Mark Weber requesting council' s
permission to close two blocks of streets , one on Jefferson
between Spruce and Walnut , and one on Spruce Street between
Jefferson and Lincoln in order for them to practice for their
upcoming annual tournaments.
C. South Park - Award Bids - Enclosed in the packet is a memorandum
and a bid tabulation in reference to this project . The recommenda-
tion is chat council award the bid to the three low bidders
which are Treehouse Nursey, Inc. for the landscaping portion
in the amount of $1,652.00, Standard Fence Company for the fenc-
ing portion in the amount of $7,463.00, and the Concrete pads
and trail portion to JCG Corporation in the amount of $26,060.60
for total project cost of $35,175.60. In actual cost , it will
be $10,500.00 less than this because we have been awarded a
grant from the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation in that amount to
go toward these projects in South Park.
D. Helart Park - Award Bid - In this case we are still analyzing
the low bids submitted by Arrow J. Landscaping and the next
low bidder is SaBells. Apparently there is some sort of
difficulty with the low bid and has not been ironed out. Hope-
fully we will have a recommendation developed by Monday and we
will submit the bid tabulation both on this and the Hillsborough
Park as well as recommendations .
E. Hillsborough West Park - Award Bid. See above.
