They are requesting the annexation <br /> of approximately 117 acres currently in Boulder <br /> County to the City of Louisville. 35 acres are <br /> north of the Interchange and approximately 82 <br /> acres are south of the Interchange. The <br /> applicants are requesting C-B Zoning. Wanush <br /> stated that since applicants' property is outside <br /> the City's Comp Plan and Urban Service Area, the <br /> Commission should review both the City's Comp Plan <br /> and the Urban Service Area and make appropriate <br /> recommendations to Council. <br /> Sackett asked if the Commission recommends against <br /> this request if Council will still be able to hear <br /> the issue. Mayor Pauson confirmed that Council <br /> still may choose to consider the request. <br /> Szymanski asked if there were any agreements with <br /> nearby communities that this proposed annexation <br /> would violate. <br /> Hundley explained that there were no current <br /> agreements with the Town of Superior. He further <br /> stated that the prior Council did take action <br /> indicating that Council did want to develop an <br /> agreement with the Town of Superior that would <br /> restrict or limit the City of Louisville from <br /> annexing south of Highway 36 and limiting Superior <br /> for annexing north of Highway 36.
