Re
supports the Task Force in hopes of finding
methods of funding recreation activities.
Carnival felt the idea of having the entire City
staff review the findings was an excellent idea in
• that streets, water and other related services and
issues would be incorporated into the finding
prior to final review by Council.
Anderson moved that staff be authorised to
advertise for people interested in serving on a
Parks and Recreation Task Force. Carnival
seconded.
Mayor Fauson asked that applicants state which
Ward they live in so that Councilwembers could
review letters frost their respective Wards. Mayor
Pauson also felt the 9 member board with 2 aeabora
serving from each Ward and 3 members at large
would be most appropriate. The Mayor appointments
would hopefully be from those individuals capable
of offering financial expertise or from other
related fields.
The motion was passed unanimously.
ORDINANCE $590 - 2ND READING - APPROVING COST AND APPORTIONIKIXT OF
SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT - VIA APPIA PROJECT -
MCSTAIN ENTERPRISES Rautanstraus read by title only Ordinance $890,
An Ordinance approving the cost of the
improvements to be made in Special Improvement
District No. 1986-1. in the city of Louisville,
Colorado, approving and confirming the
apportionment of said cost to each lot or tract of
land in the district: assessing a share of said
cost against each lot or tract of land in the
District/ and prescribing the manner for the
collection and payment of said assessments."
Eundley explained that at the April 22nd Special
City Council Meeting.
